Category

Is a large-group process designed to excavate deep historical and cyclical divisions with compassion slowly.

“Restoration Mediation: Compassionately transforming deep-rooted conflicts through witnessing, somatic-emotional embodiment, and artistic processes.”

Participants are guided toward the careful release, repair, and reweaving of shared human stories through a methodical blend of processes such as DRIP, SEWing, and SWIM plus  Global Social Witnessing (Hubl) — each embedded into distinct process phases.

This process invites communities to move through conflict and into the right relation, one thread at a time. Allowing each to tell their stories

Groups are organized for balance based on identification group, genetics, trauma symptoms, and degree of separation from the traumatic incidents.

Depending on the scale and complexity of the division being addressed, Restoration Mediation can unfold over three months to a year, with biweekly engagements. It incorporates the arts and movement for expression and integration.

It is suited for addressing profound, multi-generational divides such as Ukraine and Russia, US and Canada Residential Tribal Schools, Holocaust legacies, Hiroshima and Pearl Harbor.

This is not fast work, but it is necessary work—the kind that unearths what’s hidden, untangles what’s knotted, and slowly restores the threads of humanity’s shared fabric. It is restoring on the individual, ancestral, and collective levels.
